Co-Teaching and Co-Planning for Collaborative Teams (ESC 25/26) - 36234
Co-teaching is a collaborative instructional approach that supports students within the general education setting. This course provides an overview of co-teaching models and examines how effective partnerships can enhance instructional quality and improve student outcomes. Effective collaboration begins with intentional and strategic planning. Participants will explore the essential elements of co-planning for collaborative teaching teams and learn how to design and structure planning sessions that align with instructional goals. This interactive workshop will offer tools and techniques for streamlining communication, dividing responsibilities, and fostering a shared vision.
This session is aligned with the FAPE, LRE, and Instructional Strategies portions of the TEA-Required Self-Assessment and TEA-Identified Areas of Non-Compliance.
