Behavior goals allow the IEP team to address targeted areas of behavioral need for the student including the decrease in interfering behavior, an increase in desired positive school behavior, and the use of appropriate replacement behavior. Measurable and observable goals will allow the team to evaluate progress and determine the next steps for the student.
