CTE Counselor Fundamental Training: An Infrastructure for College, Career, and Military Readiness / Alternate Location - 35719
This session equips school counselors with the knowledge to leverage Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs as a foundational tool for supporting student success in college, career, and military pathways. Participants will explore key components of approved CTE Programs of Study, including coursework, work-based learning, and industry-based certifications, and how these align with the individual planning domain of a comprehensive counseling program. The session also connects CTE to relevant legislation and funding initiatives to support strategic CCMR planning.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to analyze CTE program components and apply that understanding to develop a data-driven, locally aligned CCMR infrastructure in collaboration with campus and district leadership.
