The session focuses on the rich history of the Jewish American community, highlighting its contributions to American society and the multifaceted nature of identity. By examining early 20th-century Jewish immigration within the broader context of American immigration history, participants will analyze push and pull factors from 1880 to 1924 and gain insight into Jewish American life in Galveston, Texas, and New York City.
