Smart Moves: Increasing Academic Learning through Physical Movement and Activities - 34993

This engaging and dynamic workshop, tailored for both general education and special education teachers, explores the researched benefits of integrating physical movement and activities into academic learning. Participants will experience various movements and activities specifically designed for classroom settings that demonstrate how physical engagement can enhance student academic outcomes. Additionally, the workshop includes a dedicated segment on managing recess effectively to maximize its impact on academic learning. The sessions will address Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 12 and 18.
