Triangulating Data in the FIE Virtual - 34966

A Full and Individual Initial Evaluation (FIIE) should tell a student's story beyond just reporting standard scores. This session will explore the concept of data triangulation—using multiple data sources to support a comprehensive and defensible disability determination. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and discussions to practice identifying patterns across assessments, observations, and other relevant data. By ensuring consistency of findings, evaluators can make informed recommendations for evidence-based interventions and effectively monitor student progress. This session aligns with the evaluation and reevaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
