Critical Thinking in Action: Using CER for Science Writing Success (6-12) - 34823
In this session, secondary science teachers will engage in collaborative activities to implement structured responses and critical thinking through the CER framework, utilizing TEKS vertical alignment, peer editing, and collaborative activities to enhance student writing and reasoning skills.

Objectives
After participating in the "Critical Thinking in Action" training, secondary science teachers will be able to implement the Claim, Evidence, Reasoning (CER) framework by analyzing sample responses, constructing their own CER responses, and applying evaluation criteria to enhance critical thinking and scientific communication in their classrooms.
