Critical Thinking in Action: Using CER for Science Writing Success (K-5) - 34822
In this session, K-5 elementary science and reading teachers will engage in collaborative activities to implement structured responses and critical thinking through the CER framework, utilizing TEKS vertical alignment, peer editing, and collaborative activities to enhance student writing and reasoning skills.

Objectives
After participating in the "Critical Thinking in Action" training, elementary science teachers (K-5) will be able to implement the Claim, Evidence, Reasoning (CER) framework by analyzing sample responses, constructing their own CER responses, and applying evaluation criteria to enhance critical thinking and scientific communication in their classrooms.
