This session, geared toward educational diagnosticians, is intended to enhance analysis and interpretation skills surrounding standardized assessment measures. During this interactive session, participants will learn how to examine item density of tests and explore dynamic assessment methods.
This session is aligned with the evaluation component of the TEA-required self-assessment.

Objectives
Participants will identify at least two methods for examining item density in cognitive and academic assessments to enhance interpretation accuracy. Participants will analyze the impact of item density on student performance by reviewing sample test protocols, and apply at least one dynamic assessment technique in a guided practice scenario to deepen their understanding of a student's learning preference.
