Research-Based Instructional Strategies for Mathematics - 34110

Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) instructional strategies representing the most significant changes needed to bridge the gap between research and practice. The mathematics RBIS includes: - Balance of Conceptual & Procedural - Depth of Key Concepts - Coherence of Key Concepts - Productive Struggle In this two-day Mathematics RBIS session, an overview of the research-based strategies will be paired with assessment practices, supporting all learners, and effective implementation. Participants will explore thinking differently about mathematics instruction and what changes could benefit the students they serve.
