Strong Foundations: Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) for Reading Language Arts (RLA) - 34517
Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) RLA are instructional strategies representing the most significant changes needed to bridge the gap between research and practice. This fast-paced RLA RBIS session will cover Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text-Based Responses. Participants will explore thinking differently about RLA and what changes could benefit the students they serve.

Please note: This session is only open to LASO Implementation grant awardees and districts who are adopting K-5 RLA Bluebonnet Learning .
Objectives
Participants will explore and identify instructional strategies to bridge the gap between research and practice in RLA during a two-day session on Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text-Based Responses.
