Quest: Unpacking Neurodiversity and Autism in Public Education - January 2025 Virtual - 34076
Join Michael Tucker (Region 11), Amber Davies (Region 14), and Jessica Flores (Region 15) as we welcome Dr. Layne Pethick (ESC Region 10) to discuss "Autism and the Brain." This session will look at the latest brain research in autism and discuss how to look beyond the label and "standard practices" to see the individual inside.
This session is aligned with the behavior component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment.
**This virtual PLC format is a collaboration between ESC Regions 11 and 14. The target audience is educators in Regions 11, 14, and 15**
