Project TAPP- Teaching, Autism, and Practitioner Preparation - Virtual Training for Paraprofessionals - 34491
This virtual session offers professional development for paraprofessionals working with students on the autism spectrum. It is facilitated by Texas A&M University's Project TAPP program. The Project TAPP team will deliver a comprehensive training session focused on strategies for engaging effectively with students with autism.
The session will cover various topics, including an Introduction to Autism, Understanding and Responding to Problem Behaviors, and Proactive Strategies for Promoting Positive Behaviors.
Paraprofessional Training Day is scheduled for February 11, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This session is aligned with the Instructional strategies component of the TEA-requried self-assessment.
