Caseload Analysis for Teachers of the Visually Impaired and Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists - 34042
Are you struggling to determine whether students are receiving the appropriate amount of services? This session will provide instruction on and an opportunity to use the Visual Impairment Scale of Service Intensity in Texas (VISSIT) and the Orientation and Mobility VISSIT. Additionally, the Visual Impairment Scale of Staffing Pattern Analysis (VISSPA) will be explored and used to analyze caseloads within school districts. This session addresses the Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 7, 8, 11, 15, and 18. NOTE: This Training is located in Denton ISD.

Objectives
Participants will complete at least 2 VISSITS for students on their caseload.
Using the information discussed, participants will create a plan for implementing the VISSPA for accurate caseload analysis tracking.
