Drug Impairment Training for Education Professionals (DITEP) - 32340

The Drug Impairment Training for Education Professionals (DITEP) is a specialized program designed to equip school staff with the skills to recognize and address drug impairment in students. This two-day class will equip school personnel to recognize signs and symptoms of drug impairment, understand drug categories and their effects, implement intervention strategies, understand policies and procedures, and engage in effective communication with parents.

Objectives
The primary objectives of the DITEP training are: - To enable education professionals to identify chemically impaired individuals and types of drugs to ensure a safe learning environment - To assist in preventing impaired students from driving to and from school - To provide early intervention and diversion for students struggling with drug dependence - To assess the need for medical assistance when evaluating students suspected of drug impairment
