Curious Minds is designed to empower educators with innovative strategies for differentiating instruction and engaging gifted and advanced learners in the field of social studies. This course delves into the intersection of student curiosity, intellectual play, and critical thinking to create dynamic learning experiences that promote deeper understanding and exploration of complex historical topics.
Throughout the course, participants will explore a variety of instructional approaches aimed at tapping into students' innate curiosity and fostering critical thinking skills. By leveraging student interests and providing opportunities for intellectual play, educators will develop strategies to enrich the learning environment for ALL students while also challenging and inspiring advanced learners.
