Diversity for LSSPs Virtual - 30548
In this session, we will explore various dimensions of individual differences, encompassing cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic variations as well as varying learning needs and abilities. We will examine how these factors can influence academic and social-emotional outcomes and discuss how to tailor interventions to meet the unique requirements of students with distinct backgrounds.
By the end of this session, you will have a deeper understanding of the significance of individual differences in your role as a school psychologist. You will also acquire the skills and strategies needed to deliver effective services to students with diverse backgrounds.
This session is aligned with the Disproportionality of Identification and Placement and Evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
