Contextual Considerations in Autism Evaluations Virtual - 35145

In this session, we will explore a range of individual differences, including variations in contextual settings, language, economic background, learning styles, and abilities. We will examine how these factors may influence academic, emotional, and social development and discuss strategies for designing interventions that address the specific needs of each student. This session is designed to meet participants' licensure requirements. This session is aligned with the Disproportionality of Identification and Placement and Evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.

Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will demonstrate at least two contextual consideration strategies through case study analysis to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds.
