Cyclical Review Cohort 2022-2023 - 30028
TEA conducts IDEA cyclical reviews to determine compliance with federal and state laws for serving students with disabilities and to assist LEAs in resolving specific issues or concerns that impact services and outcomes for students with disabilities. All LEAs are expected to participate in the review every six years. This session will discuss the requirements and provide lessons learned in preparing for the review. The LEAs in the 2022-23 cohort are encouraged to attend.

The training is open to all special education leaders, especially LEAs in the 2022-23 cohort.
Objectives
The participants will understand the cyclical review requirements and establish a timeline, determine personnel to assist and develop a plan for completing the review.
