Understanding and Planning for School Bombing Incidents - in proud partnership with the U. S. Department of Homeland Security and New Mexico Tech - 28173

UPSBI provides technical operations and awareness training for charter schools, school district and campus administration, transportation directors, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, emergency management, and others who have a significant responsibility for responding to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incidents involving explosives and incendiary materials in a school environment. This course specifically focuses on prevention and response to school bombing incidents. Topics include:
-Understanding the Terrorist Threat
-Recognition of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs)
-Prevention, Response, and Mitigation
-Safety Issues/Considerations This training is presented by New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (New Mexico Tech) and the Department of Homeland Security.
