This virtual, half-day session will be presented by Nancy Motley, author of RtI for ELLs. What is this training about? Educators face many challenges when striving to adapt their Response to Intervention (RtI) program to meet the unique needs of English Language Learners (ELLs). Using The RtI for ELLs fold-out chart, this training walks participants through the components of an RtI model specifically tailored for ELLs. In addition, participants will practice using accommodations, assessments, and strategies for ELLs, based on language proficiency levels and cultural backgrounds. This training also provides participants with hands-on activities that can be implemented immediately to support culturally and linguistically diverse students in K-6 classrooms.
