NOVA Crisis Response Team Training (Crisis Team Only) - 27113
The National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) training will prepare counselors to serve on Crisis Recovery Teams to help schools recover by learning the basics of crisis intervention. Session topics include the NOVA crisis response model; group victim intervention techniques; the experience and impact of trauma on emotions, memory, and cognitive abilities; death notifications; trauma reactions in children; cultural influences on trauma; and CRT leadership. This is a three-day workshop.
