BOOK STUDY: The Classroom Behavior Manual: How to Build Relationships with Students, Share Control, and Teach Positive Behaviors - 26304
*Please read carefully!*
Join us as we dive into the book, "The Classroom Behavior Manual: How to Build Relationships with Students, Share Control, and Teach Positive Behaviors," by Scott Ervin (The Kid Whisperer). In this book, Scott teaches teachers how to respond to serious or repeated negative behavior by teaching the positive behaviors with which the student currently struggles. The Classroom Behavior Manual empowers teachers to become the professionals they always wanted to be.
You will feel confident as you head into a new school year with a toolkit full of resources and strategies for embedding SEL, building classroom communities, and implementing effective behavior management tools. We will look at ways to incorporate positive student behavior skills where students and teachers will both shine. At the competition of this book study, participants will have:
1) learned new strategies for building classroom culture and minimized the need for traditional behavior management strategies;
2) the tools to apply and use the strategies learned with students in their classroom; and
3) discussed with professional peers ways to implement and use the strategies.
