Mindfulness & Self-Care - 25642

Join us for a refreshing hour to focus on you! The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) supports the social and emotional development of both students and adults through the use of several techniques that include the regulation of breathing, mindfulness, and coping strategies that promote physical movement. This session will focus on those three techniques that will support the educator’s ability to self-regulate and model expected behaviors for students. Several of these strategies are consistent with the practice of Yoga; therefore, a certified educator and Yoga instructor will aid the participants in a series of activities that are beneficial to students, adult learners, and families. A certified Yoga Instructor will be providing a session that promotes both physical and emotional well-being. Strategies are designed for all levels of comfort.
