Transition Essentials provides an overview of key components that support effective transition planning for students receiving special education services. Participants will explore foundational practices, compliance considerations, and strategies to support positive postsecondary outcomes.

Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to identify key components of effective transition planning and the educator's role in supporting postsecondary readiness, list compliance requirements and best practices related to transition services and planning, and explain strategies for developing student-centered transition goals and activities.
