Behavior Lunch & Learn Friday: Reinforcement Strategies Virtual - 37064
Reinforcement is an evidence-based intervention used to increase the occurrence of desired behaviors or skills by providing a meaningful response following those behaviors. It focuses on strengthening appropriate behaviors by identifying what is motivating to an individual and intentionally using those motivators to encourage learning, engagement and positive behavior change. Reinforcement can be applied across a variety of settings and age groups and is a foundational practice for teaching new skills, prompting appropriate behavior, and creating supportive environments.
