Primary Source Power-Up with ICS Virtual - 36537
In this workshop, you will first discover practical tools and strategies designed to transform primary sources into engaging, student-centered learning experiences. By practicing specific analysis techniques, you will develop or deepen your skills to make complex historical documents accessible for your students. These hands-on methods are built to foster deep inquiry and help students connect personally with historical narratives. Once you have explored these instructional tools, you will apply them to a fascinating series of case studies examining the role of religion in the governments of Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, and Iran. By comparing these nations to the United States, you will learn how to guide students through the diverse landscape of global politics and faith.
