22 TAC 463.35(a)(1)--Requirements for Professional Development (a) Minimum Professional Development Hours Required: (1) A licensee must complete 40 hours of professional development during each renewal period that they hold a license. The 40 hours of professional development must include 6 hours in cultural diversity or competency.
Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will demonstrate at least two contextual consideration strategies through case study analysis to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds.
