Evaluating the quality of FBAs and BIPS using the TATE Rubric - 36432
The FBA-BIP process is complex, and creating a high-quality plan based on evidence-based procedures is an important part of supporting students with challenging behaviors that interfere with their education. This training will describe a tool (The TATE Rubric) school personnel can use to evaluate and improve the quality of their FBAs and BIPs. The training will provide an overview of what is included in a high-quality FBA-BIP, review the rubric in detail, and provide participants an opportunity to use the tool on real FBA-BIP documents. Finally, tips and recommendations will be made about how to revise documents based on rubric scores.
