This four-part academy series is designed specifically for campus administrators seeking to expand their leadership toolkit and build capacity in emergent bilingual education. The academy provides a comprehensive overview of key topics essential to enhancing Bilingual and ESL programs. Each session offers a focused opportunity to deepen understanding and develop skills critical to leading and improving emergent bilingual initiatives. Session 1: LPAC (Language Proficiency Assessment Committee) In this first session, participants will explore the role and responsibilities of the LPAC, including compliance requirements, effective decision-making processes, and best practices for supporting emergent bilingual students. This foundational session sets the stage for leadership growth across the series. Participants are expected to attend all four sessions to fully benefit from the academy experience.
