LPAC Compliance Series: LPAC and ARD Collaboration Virtual - 35499
This virtual series is designed exclusively for EB program leaders and campus LPAC administrators to support compliance with Texas LPAC requirements. Participants will gain critical updates and guidance related to the identification of Emergent Bilingual (EB) students, PEIMS coding, LPAC/ARD collaboration, state assessment decisions, reclassification, and monitoring processes.
This session will equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to strengthen collaboration between LPAC and ARD committees in support of Emergent Bilingual (EB) students receiving special education services. Attendees will explore the legal requirements governing LPAC and ARD coordination, clarify the distinct roles and responsibilities of each committee, and learn how to facilitate effective joint decision-making regarding language services and assessment participation.
