Building Social Skills in Early Learners (Gainesville ISD) - 35466

Children who develop strong social skills are better prepared to succeed in school and beyond. In this session, early childhood educators will reflect on their approach to child behavior and explore essential skills that support positive interactions and self-control. Participants will learn practical strategies to help children recognize and manage their emotions. The session will also cover ways to coach children in advanced skills such as problem-solving and emotional regulation, supporting a calm and effective learning environment. This session is aligned with the behavior and instructional strategies components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
