In this session, we will explore the value of building positive connections, strengthening communication skills, and setting clear expectations. Participants will gain insight into how establishing rapport with students supports their engagement and success in the classroom. Additionally, we will review practical techniques for fostering student-teacher connections and how clear, respectful communication plays a role. Finally, we will practice strategies for setting appropriate boundaries to support a structured and productive learning environment.
This session is aligned with the behavior component of the TEA-required self-assessment.
