ARD & LPAC Collaboration (Mansfield ISD) - 35088
This 3-hour training provides a comprehensive overview of the collaboration between the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee and the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC). Participants will explore legal requirements, best practices, and data-driven decision-making processes to ensure appropriate evaluation, placement, and service delivery for Emergent Bilingual students receiving special education services. The session includes practical guidance, real-world scenarios, and time for reflection and discussion.
This session is aligned with the Evaluation component of the TEA-required self-assessment.
