In the Know: Evaluation Staff Updates - 34424
We invite you to participate in these collaboration/update opportunities that have been specifically designed for special education evaluation personnel. Participants will have the chance to connect with colleagues in the region, discuss best practices in the field, and gain insights into the latest evaluation practices and tools. During this session, a due process case will be reviewed, and questions from the field discussed.
This session is aligned with the evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
Audiences
Diagnosticians, LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology)
Objectives
Participants will engage in collaborative discussions with at least two regional colleagues to exchange best practices and challenges in special education evaluations, identify three key evaluation practices or tools that align with the TEA-required self-assessment, and analyze the implications of a due process case and respond to several case-related questions.
