The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Participants will complete 2 hours of self-paced work in advance of the YMHFA class. The individual work will be followed up by a group class that will be held online. (Pre-work required)
