Magnification Device Exploration for Students with Visual Impairments, Part 1 - 33488
This session will provide an overview of and training on various desktop magnification devices including the OrCam Read 3. These devices will have high definition zoom abilities, OCR readers, and portability features. Participants will have the opportunity to explore, practice, and utilize the devices to determine which devices might work best for their students. This training addresses Special Education Self-Assessment strategies #7: IEP Content & Development, #8: IEP Implementation, #9: Least Restrictive Environment, #12: Instructional Strategies (Gen Ed/SpEd), and #15: Secondary Transition.
