Infant and Family Services: A Workshop for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists, and Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - 33368
This session will address services for infants and toddlers with a visual or hearing difference and their families. Service providers will discuss writing IFSPs, Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) paperwork requirements, strategies for working with families, service delivery, and how the coaching model is different from providing services to school age students. This session is aligned with TEA Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 1,2,14 and 22 and SPP indicators 8 and 12.

Objectives
Discuss information and expectations regarding Birth to 3 services for children who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, and deafblind.
Write IFSP goals and service plans using the ECI format.
Demonstrate how to use the ECI coaching model.
