Children with strong social and emotional skills are more likely to succeed in school, work, and life. In this session, educators will explore their perspectives on child behavior and understand the key social skills that foster student success. Participants will learn effective strategies for teaching children about their emotions and how to manage them. Additionally, we will focus on coaching children in advanced social skills, including emotional regulation and problem-solving, to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment. This session is aligned with the Instructional Strategies and Behavior components of TEA-required self-assessment.
