Autism Lunch and Learn - Video Modeling Virtual - 33141
During this series, participants will dive into the world of behavior analysis and learn practical strategies to shape behavior effectively. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the skills and knowledge to develop and implement effective behavioral strategies in a variety of settings, such as in school or the home. This session is aligned with the Instructional Strategies component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment.
April Session - Explore video modeling as an instructional tool for students with Autism to teach self-help skills, social skills, and communication skills. Desired behaviors are learned by watching a video demonstration of themselves and/or others and then imitating the behavior. Participants will view a variety of video modeling examples and learn how to take an instructional idea to a final product. During the training, there will be an opportunity to practice videotaping.
