Biology Basics and Essentials: Session 1 - 31926
Have you suddenly found yourself in a high school biology classroom and need support? Join ESC Region 11 for Part 1 of a three-part series that aims to get your biology teaching practice off to a great start. In this first session, you will review the following topics: chemical bonding, biological molecules, enzymes and hormones, eukaryotic cells, and cell transport. Each topic will include hands-on experiences to facilitate learning. Best practices in secondary science instruction will also be reviewed.
