This professional development experience focuses on using purposeful discourse as a powerful instructional tool to build comprehension and writing for students in grades 3-12 in English Language Arts and Reading. We will understand the connections between purposeful discourse, reading comprehension, and writing. Participants will experience intentional discourse strategies and leave with practical ideas and resources to implement purposeful discourse in their classrooms.
