Educator Job Skills Training Online - 30755
The success of students with disabilities in the workplace often depends upon the development of skills for employment and the level of support that is provided before and after a student is employed. This training is based on best practices in the field of vocational rehabilitation and competitive integrated employment. Participants will enroll in the online Job Skills Trainer (JST) course through UNT WISE (March 6, 2023 - April 7, 2023) and have approximately 30 days to work through specified modules, content, and activities. The online portion will serve as the prerequisite to participate in the in-person training. This session has limited seats. Registration will be first come, first served.
Audiences
Paraprofessionals, Teacher - Special Education, Transition Specialists to Transition Personnel, Teacher - Middle School (Grades 6-8)
Prerequisite/Special Notes
IMPORTANT: The online Job Skills Trainer (JST) course will serve as the prerequisite to participate in the required one day in-person training scheduled for April 11th, April 12th, OR April 13th, 2023. This training will be facilitated by credentialed UNT WISE staff.
