Authentic Vocabulary Instruction: Using Context to Make Meaning - 29525
In this session, elementary teachers will learn the three tiers of vocabulary and how to apply that knowledge to develop a vocabulary lesson. Teachers will create think-alouds to explicitly model the use of context clues to solve the meaning of words using authentic texts.
