CPI: Instructor Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention - 28054
CPI Global Professional Instructors will directly train participants to become Certified Instructors so they teach staff in their district. CPI's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® is designed to teach best practices for managing difficult situations and disruptive behaviors. Participants learn how to use nonverbal and verbal techniques to defuse confrontational situations. Participants will also learn how to use Safe Physical Intervention if necessary to keep a student safe. Participants will learn how to master the intervention techniques they have learned so they are able to teach them to staff at their organization.

Prerequisite/Special Notes
You must be an employee of a Region 11 public or charter school to attend. Participants from outside the Region 11 service area will not be able to attend. In addition, you will need permission from you LEA to attend this session. Please contact Michael Tucker (mtucker@esc11.net) to obtain passcode.
