The Burkhart Center for Autism Education & Research Presents: A Workshop Series -- FUNCTIONAL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT - 27345
Participants will learn how to conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) that provides information to develop a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that will be used effectively in the classroom setting. Participants must be selected by their administer. The Burkhart Center for Autism Education & Research at Texas Tech University is partnering with ESC Autism Specialists throughout the state to offer an intensive three-day Functional Behavior Assessment workshop. This FBA workshop is limited to 20 participants. Participants should have students with ASD on their caseload. Benefits for FBA Workshop participants: Approximately $900 worth of textbooks and resources and Reimbursement for cost of substitute teacher (up to $315).
Dates: February 17, March 3 and March 24th (Via Zoom)
Time: 1 pm - 4pm
Online asynchronous content to be completed by each participant between Zoom sessions
