Sheltered Instruction in ANY Classroom - 27302

Participants will learn that sheltered instruction is an approach for making grade-level academic content comprehensible to English learners while at the same time promoting language development. Participants will explore and practice research-based best practices that result in mastery of grade-level content while simultaneously leading to language acquisition and building a foundation of academic vocabulary. These strategies and practices are necessary for some students, but beneficial to ALL students! This session will be held virtually through Zoom and participants will receive three (3) CPE credit hours upon course completion.
