Engage by Design Content Series: Energy and Electricity for Grades 3-5 Using Seesaw - 26744

Participants will actively explore the forms of energy, including how the different forms of energy are used and how to distinguish between them. Additionally, lab simulations on electricity will include the building of circuits, how circuits work, and the role of insulators and conductors. Speaking and writing about these experiences allow students to grow in their own understanding and help others do the same. Strategies embedded in the session will help teachers make content accessible for struggling learners and English Learners as well as challenging for gifted learners.
