This training will provide dyslexia identification processes according to the state dyslexia handbook. An integration of evaluation guidelines/criteria between general education and special education will be presented.

Prerequisite/Special Notes
This training is designed for dyslexia evaluators. An understanding of formal and informal assessment is required. Previous training over administration of the standard dyslexia assessment battery is required. Participants will need to have read and be familiar with the 2018 Texas State Dyslexia Handbook, specifically chapters I and III, prior to the session.
Objectives
Provide training to dyslexia evaluators regarding interpretation of data and and the specific criteria required for identifying students with dyslexia.
