Forgotten People in History - 24904
The history you hear depends on who is telling the story. History is about perspective and point of view. Join us as we hear from TCU history professors about four groups who are now getting the chance to share their story. These groups will include: (1) The Slaves' Gamble: Choosing Sides in the War of 1812, (2) Unlocking the Secrets of Nature: Aztec Botanists and the Forgotten History of Plants in the Age of Exploration, (3) Women in Islam and Islamic History, and (4) The Black and Latino Civil Rights Movements in Texas.
